The Federal College of Education, FCE Zaria has been upgrade to s University of Education by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Commenting on the development, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas on Thursday through a statement made available to journalists in Abuja commended the efforts of the president.
He noted that President Tinubu has shown himself a detribalised leader who has demonstrated his unwavering love and support for the Nigerian education system, saying the upgrading of the institution is a show of courage, adding that it is a testament to the President’s determination to improve the Nigerian education system.
According to him, more Nigerians would have access to University education with the development, particularly those in the teaching line.
While congratulating the people of Kaduna State, the Governor, Uba Sani and the Emir of Zazzau, His Royal Highness, Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, hailed the governor for achievement and called for cooperation with the government to bring the University to fruition.
