The Kauran Gwandu Achievements Forum has Unveiled the remarkable achievements recorded by Governor Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu of Kebbi State within one year in the state.
It also concluded plans to purchase form for the governor against 2027 governorship elections in the state.
The Chairman of the Forum, Alhaji Armiya’u Usman on Sunday in a press briefing at the Forum’s office in Rafin Atiku, Birnin Kebbi said the Forum deemed it necessary to briefe the public on the achievements of the administration of Gov Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu within one year of his purposeful quality leadership in Kebbi State.
“We are a group of well focused and active supporters of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi state and the nation at large.” Armiya’u said.
We played significant role in the 2023 political dispensation that eventually witnessed the emergence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Kebbi state governor Dr. Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu and all other APC candidates at the state and federal levels. Since then we continue to accord greater support to the government on all policies and programmes.” he added.
According to him, the Forum is also extremely pleased to assert that its support and other contributions have yielded the desired results as those elected under the banner of APC are currently justifying the respective mandates freely given to them by the electorates.
He noted that the Forum has restated its determination to continue to render this support as it appeared clear that more dividends of democracy are daily being enjoyed by the good people of this state.
The chairman also disclosed that the Forum was a living witnesses to the unprecedented performances of this humane leader across Kebbi state in various sectors and his efforts to develop the state capital to the admiration of the citizens, friends and well wishers within just one year in office have been something of a big pride to all Kebbians.
Some of the achievements listed includes, multibillion naira city roads dualisation in Birnin-Kebbi metropolis and other major centres across the state, the beautified roundabouts and the dualisation of NNPC Mega station to Ambursa Airport junction road together with others at major cities such as Yauri township and Shanga roads as laudable projects that singled out Kaura administration as a unique one.
There is also the resumption of works at Koko – Mahuta- Dabai road is another outstanding feat recorded by His Excellency within just a year of his leadership in the state.
 These according to him, are indeed undertakings geared towards greater improvement of the lives, hopes and aspirations of the people of the state.
Other achievements includes; transforming the educational sector where the administration embarked on intensive repairs, renovations and construction of schools across the state as well as payment of bursary to state indigents studying within and out side the country, this gesture was by no means a big boost to the sector potently capable of improving the standard of education in terms of quality assurance, enrolment, attendance and completion.
 The Chairman also revealed that agriculture is one area that saw the midas touch where fertilizer was given to the farmers across the state as well as grants of solar powered water pumps, insects and herbicides and other inputs free of charge.
The rest are remarkable positive changes since the advent of Kauran Gwandu administration include health, economy and peoples empowerment, security, etc.
The Forum however based on the listed track records by Kaura led administration within one year in office announced that it resolved to purchase the 2027 gubernatorial contest form for Governor Dr Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu for his continuity.
