The Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) in Kebbi State has called for urgent investigation into the alleged fraudulent activities in the disbursement of NG-CARES funds in the state.
The Secretary of the party in the state Hon. Abubakar Bawa Kalgo made the call in a statement issued to journalists in Birnin Kebbi.
Kalgo said it was a wake-up call on the recent initial disclosure by the Commissioner of information and Culture in a statement he issued on September 4th, 2024.
The Party’s Scribe added that state government and the anti-corruption agencies such as EFCC, ICPC, World Bank, National Safety Adjustment and the Federal Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning needed to investigate those involved in the alleged fraudulent disbursements of NG- Cares funds across Kebbi State.
