Gov. Radda reaffirms commitment to security, accelerated development

Katsina State Executive Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, PhD CON has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to security, accelerated development

He made the assertion on his return to Nigeria to from a five-day working visit to China on Saturday 24 August, 2024.

Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Katsina State in a press statement  said Gov Radda was warmly welcomed at Abuja’s Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport by a delegation from the state, including federal lawmakers, party leaders, and family members.

In his statement to the press, Governor Radda said, “I am delighted to be back home after a productive working visit to China, following my annual vacation. The warm welcome I’ve received today reinforces my dedication to serving the great people of Katsina State.”

“During my visit to China, we explored numerous opportunities for collaboration and investment that will significantly benefit our beloved state. The insights and agreements reached will undoubtedly accelerate Katsina’s development,” Governor Radda stated.

Reacting to the recent bandits attack in the state, Governor Radda noted, “As I prepare to resume my duties on Monday, my heart goes out to the families affected by the recent bandit attacks. I want to assure all residents of Katsina that improving security remains my top priority. We are intensifying our efforts and implementing new strategies to ensure the safety of every citizen.”

“I must commend my capable Deputy Governor, Malam Faruk Lawal Jobe, for his exemplary leadership in my absence. His efficient management of state affairs demonstrates the strength and unity of our administration,” he continued.

“To the people of Katsina, I reaffirm my unwavering commitment to your welfare and the progress of our state. The coming days will see the rollout of innovative programs and projects that will elevate Katsina to new heights. Together, we will build a more prosperous, secure, and vibrant Katsina State,” Governor Radda concluded.
