Some military officers of the Nigerian Army were ambushed in Gudu Local Government Area of Sokoto State which resulted in the death of four officers
There are reports that Ibrahim Yibranii Yohana, was among the four soldiers killed by terrorists.
It was gathered that the soldiers were ambushed along the Kukurau-Bangi Road while on patrol around 4pm on Saturday.
The attack was also said to have left two other soldiers injured while two operational vehicles of the military personnel were set on fire by the terrorists.
Sokoto State is in the Northwest geopolitical zone that has been under serious security challenges that left several lives lost and the destruction properties worth billions of naira .
