The Comptroller of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) in Kebbi State, Saidu Bashir Daura has pledged to collaborate with police to improve security in KEBBI State.
This was revealed by the Comptroller of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Bashir Daura when he received newly posted Commissioner of Police of the state, Bello M. Sani in his office at the Command headquarters in Gwadangaji in Birnin Kebbi metropolis on a courtesy visit.
He stated categorically that, the Police and Immigration Service are like twin brothers and promised to collaborate with the Police to move ahead in improving the security architecture in Kebbi State.
The NIS Boss used the avenue and briefed the CP on the ongoing passport reforms and E- boarder policy of the Nigeria Immigration Service aimed at checkmating the influx of people into the country.
Earlier, the newly posted Commissioner of Police, Bello M. Sani had told the immigration Boss that both immigration and police are like twin brothers and as such there is need for a collaborative efforts in between in order to curb menace of all sorts of criminal activities in the state.
