A new leadership of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) has been to runs the affairs of the association for the next two years.
The election which held at the Federal High Court Conference hall in Birnin Kebbi metropolis, witnessed by many stakeholders in the Equity Bar circle.
The election was conducted successfully with the emergence of Barr. Aminu Hassan as the new chairman and Barr. Aminu Diri as Secretary.
In his acceptance speech shortly after he was sworn in, the new NBA chairman said the association will implement Equity Bar Cooperative Society in order to improve the welfare and well-being of its members.
He added that digital identification cards (ID-Cards) will be printed for easy identification of members, meant to forestall impersonation and sensitise the profession.
The Chairman also commended Governor Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu for donating N100 million to the association in order to complete its Secretariat in the state capital, Birnin Kebbi.
