The Government of Kaduna State has been commended for the rescue of the kidnapped pupils/students in Kuriga, in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State
The commendation was made by Arewa Online Media Publishers in a release signed and issued by its secretary, Zainab Tanimu dated March 26, 2024.
The release reads in part “the efforts of the Government of Kaduna State, the security agencies and the general public in the rescue of the pupils/students kidnapped on March 7 is highly commendable.
“We therefore congratulate the Government and people of Kaduna State and the security agencies for rescueing the victims unharmed.
“We also condole with the Government and the entire people of Kaduna State over the unfortunate death of the teacher who lost his life in captivity. While we pray for the repose of the soul of the deceased, we urge residents in Kaduna to remain committed to fighting for safety and end to terrorism.
“The security operatives should intensify efforts to rescue all kidnapped persons safely, while members of the public intensify prayers and assist the government and security agencies with information on the movements of criminals for a timely and appropriate actions, the statement finally said.
