The Governor announced this during the flagg off of distribution of assorted grants consisting bags of rice, millet, maize and guinea corn to people in the state in respective of party differences.
While flagging-off of the distribution yesterday at Rima government grains store in Birnin Kebbi metropolis, Governor Idris said the gesture, which his government initiated is to alleviate the sufferings people face in the ongoing Ramadan Fasting .
The governor added that time of politicking is over, it was now time for governance and therefore everybody will benefit from this distribution of grains irrespective of party affiliations.
He said that committees have been set up to ensure equitable distribution of the grains to all people in the state.
The distribution will cover all the 21 LGAs, ministries, Departments, boards and Commissions as well as religious organisations, trade unions and security agencies in the state.
