The board members of Katsina State Universal Basic Education Board have been integrated at SUBEB conference hall Katsina.
In her inaugural speech, the commissioner of Basic and Secondary Education, Hajiya Hadiza Abubakar ‘Yar’adua said the current administration is doing everything possible to improve the education sector from grassroot.
According to her education is a backbone of any societal development.urging the newly inaugrated board members to join hand’s together and use their past experiences towards achieving the desired goals.
In his speech, the chairman of the board, who is also the executive chairman SUBEB Dr Kabir Magaji solicited the support and cooperation of the members towards achieving the mandate given to them.
Dr Kabir Magaji assured thei board madness to do as much as possible towards repositioning the education sector in the state.
He mentioned some successes recorded by current state administration in just seven months which include construction’s and rehabilitation of schools across the state.
The SUBEB Chairman noted that state government has provided working materials, portable water, construction’s of toilets among others.
On behalf of the Board members the chairman express appreciation to the state governor Dikko Umar Radda for selecting them to serve the state.
The board members are Dr Kabir Magaji as chairman, Dr Ibrahim Isiyaku, Alh. Rabi’u Idris and state Chairman of PTA Yandakan Katsina Alh. Sada Muhd Sada.
Others are Alh. Muntari Lawai, Sherifat Salihu, Hajiya Rakiya Shehu Runka, Hajiya Hassana Ibrahim Mani, Alh.Bello Musa ‘Yantumaki, Alh. Bello Idris Daura, Alh Abdulwahab Suleiman and Dr Isah Idris Zakari.
