In his determination to bring peace and development to Zamfara State, Gov Dauda Lawal has visited the training camp of the Community Protection Guards (CPG) and emphasized the importance of collective responsibility for ensuring peace.

A statement from the governor’s media aide, Sulaiman Bala Idris, said “I am here today to observe the progress of the recently recruited Community Protection Guards (CPG) training.”

The task at hand is enormous and calls for sacrifice on behalf of the motherland, so I implore all (the recruits) to devote yourselves to the training. For a successful outcome, we must work together. We will eventually overcome the obstacles to security that Zamfara State faces.

“What I saw at the training camp has made me very happy. My expectations have been raised, and I am sure that Zamfara will have a better future thanks to our rescue mission.

One of the states in the North-West impacted by bandit activity is Zamfara. Other states include Kebbi, Katsina, Sokoto, and Kaduna
