Hamas says the threat of an Israel ground forces invasion of Gaza “doesn’t scare us and we are ready for it”.
Abu Obeideh, the spokesman of Hamas’s military wing in a televised statement yesterday said Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades were holding 200 people captive since a massive onslaught on Israel’s south on October 7, with about 50 others held by other “resistance factions and in other places”.
Meanwhile, as Gaza’s hospital morgues overflow with victims killed in Israel’s bombardment triggered by a deadly Hamas attack, even an ice-cream truck has been used to hold corpses before their burial.
