Arewa Broadcast Media Practitioners Forum have condoled the family and Zamfara state chapter of the Nigeria Union of journalists over the death of Alh. Hamisu Danjinga, a former staff of Voice of Nigeria as well as the Vision FM Gusau.
Speaking on behalf of the National President of the forum, Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Yelwa (Ajiyan Yauri) the national secretary of the forum, Alhaji Aliyu Adamu Tsafe said the death of Hamisu Danjinga was a great loss not only to Zamfara state but the entire nation.
Tsafe described late Danjibga as an honest, sincere, committed and fearless journalist who performed his duty with diligence and fear of God.
”On behalf of the Arewa Broadcast Media Practitioners Forum, we are here today to condole the NUJ members in Zamfara state and the families of late Hamisu Danjinga over his death.
“I have no doubt in my mind that, late Danjibga has left a vacuum difficult to fill considering the way and manner he conducted himself during his lifetime.

“I know Danjinga for over the years particularly when he was joining the Voice of Nigeria (VON) Lagos”
“They called me and asked me about Danjinga and I told them that he was a good material”.
“We really lost a friend and a colleague who would forever be remembered, considering his track record in journalism profession.
“We pray to Allah to grant his soul an internal rest and give his family and colleagues the fortitude to bear the loss”.
Tsafe finally called on the security agencies and relevant authorities to hasten the investigation into the merciless killing of late Hamisu Danjinga with a view to bringing the assassins to book.
In his response, the chairman, Nigeria Union of journalists Zamfara state chapter, Comrade Ibrahim Musa Maizare commended the Arewa Broadcast Media Practitioners Forum for the condolence and prayed to Allah to reward them abundantly.
Comrade Maizare who described late Danjibga as a role model called on working journalists to emulate his starling qualities.
The national secretary was accompanied by the Managing Director Al,umma TV, Malam Bashir Sanda Gusau, the General Manager Pride FM Gusau, Malam Mujtaba Ramalan and the Manager News NTA Gusau, Prince Mudena David Yilwatda
