The new minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT Nyesom Wike has stated that he is going to ensure the Abuja master plan us respected and whoever built on areas that unauthorized lands would be demolished
“People who are distorting the master plan of Abuja, too bad, look at refuse everywhere. Those we are paying for refuse collection, what are they doing. So we must also sit down to look at ways of waste management. All those people who are distorting the master plan of Abuja, too bad and if you know you have built on where you are not supposed to, it will go down”
FCT experiencing a lot of abuse building regulations causing flooding in many areas and locations.
An example is the trademore estate which was submerged and flooded and consequently lead to the liss of life and valueabls.
