he Katsina State Governor Dr Dikko Umar Radda will on Tuesday swear-in the 20 commissioners nominees screened and confirmed by the Katsina State House of Assembly.
The governor will assign portfolios to the commissioners whose main responsibilities are to ensure delivering his campaign promises in the area of security, economy, education, healthcare, transportation etc.
Observers of Katsina politics believe Governor Dikko has assembled competent, committed and with the will to deliver on the mandate given to him.
The selection has manifested geographical spread even though some local government areas could not make a slot in the appointment.
One of the major challenges in Katsina State has been the issue of insecurity of lives and properties which threatens the revenue base of the state and affects the economic growth and development of the state.
It is important for government to tighten its belt, work hard, block all revenue leakages, encourage people to embrace meaningful businesses, create conducive environment to attract investment most especially in agro allied businesses.
