The Executive Governor of Katsina state Mallam Dikko Umar Radda has donated the sun of Three Hundred Saudi Riyals to each pilgrims from Katsina state who performed this year’s Hajj Exercise as goron sallah.
This was announced by the Amirul Hajji of Katsina state Hon.Tasiu Maigari Zango while on a visit to the pilgrims in their respective Houses in Makkah City.
The Amirul Hajj said the gesture is meant to cushion the effect of high cost of living in Makkah and urged them to reciprocate the gesture by offering special prayers for peace and tranquility to prevail in the state considering the current insecurity situation of the state.
Also speaking the Executive Director of the state Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Suleiman Nuhu Kuki thanked the pilgrims for the way and manner they conducted themselves during Minna and Arafat outing and urged them to continue in that regard.
The pilgrims thanked the government for gesture and wished him a successful tenure.
