Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has formed a committee to investigate the status of all ongoing projects left by his predecessor, Nasiru El-Rufai.
The formation of the committee was contained in a statement issued on Monday, Chief Press Secretary Muhammad Lawal Shehu stating the committee will investigate their status, including those in the pipeline.
He said this is consistent with the government’s commitment to completing all priority projects as soon as possible.
The committee’s terms of reference include determining the status of all ongoing projects across the state, obtaining details of contractual agreements/obligations, determining funding arrangements and commitments of parties, determining the completion period of the projects, and developing specific recommendations on each project

The committee has four weeks from the inaugural meeting to submit its report, according to him.
Sabiu Sani, Special Adviser, Investment & Promotion, serves as Chairman of the Committee, and Dr. Abdullahi B. Ahmed, Special Adviser, Project Monitoring, Implementation, and Result Delivery, is a member.
Dr. Mustapha Musa, Special Adviser, Legal, is a member, as is Fabian Okoye, Special Adviser, Research, Documentation, and Strategy; Ibrahim T. Muhammad, Member, Special Adviser on Economic Matters as member, Atiku Sankey, Special Adviser for Peace and Conflict Resolution, Secretary will be Larai Ishaku Member Shuaibu Kabir Bello, Senior Special Assistant, ICT
