The Senator Elect, Katsina Central Senatorial Zone Col. Abdulazeez Musa Yar’adua has enjoined candidates from the opposition parties to joined hands by offering their advice in a bid to move the zone forward.
He made the call when he visited Charanchi, Rimi and Kaita LGAs Friday in continuation of his “Thank You” tour across the Senatorial District.
Abdulazeez Yar’adua explained that since both candidates from the winning and opposition parties have similar potentials of restoring the lost glory of the zone hence the need for collaborative efforts to salvage the same course.
The Senator Elect, who outrightly said that himself and other APC elected officials from the zone represent President Elect and the State Governor Elect at the thank you tour, solicit the support and prayers for them to champion the course of the mission.
Senator Abdu Soja said the electorates and major stakeholders of the local government areas of the zone to be fully prepared for their involvement in decision making process towards securing a new future for youth to be self reliant and entrepreneurship for women.
” The time for action is now, let us rise up and work towards a brighter future for ourselves and our communities. Together we can achieve greatness and overcome any obstacle that stands on our way”. He said.
The five District Heads so far visited at their respective palaces expressed appreciation and pledged to intensify prayers for the elected officials to be guided by Allahu SWT to make quality representation at the Senate and National Assembly as well as the State Assembly.
Later in Kaita, the Local Branch of the Youth Council of Nigeria presented a congratulatory Certificate to the Senator over his election victory.
Among the notable politicians that spoke during the tour include APC Zonal Vice Chairman Katsina Central Alhaji Yahaya Asasanta, APC Chairmen of the three local government areas, Elected Member House of Representatives Batagarawa/Rimi/Charanchi Hon Usman Banye (Usmaniyya) and Council Chairmen of the three LGAs.
Notable people that accompanied the Senstor Elect include Alhaji Tanimu Gwarjo, Major Yahaya Rimi Rtd, Wing Commander Kurfi, Tafidan Kaita (A A Moda) and Alhaji Umaru Faruk (Darakta).
Others are Abu Bala Saulawa, M D KASAROMA Eng Sirajo Yazid Abukur, Hon Alhaji Lemamu Tsagero Comrade Bilyaminu Rimi and Hon Gambo Rimi among others.
