By Lawal Gwanda: Internally Displaced Persons in Zakka District of Safana LGA of Katsina State have a course to smile, as N1.45M assistance has been given to them to cushion their hardship.
The Katsina Central APC Senatorial Candidate Col Abdulazeez Musa ‘Yar’adua (Rtd) popularly known as Abdu Soja and two other APC Candidates secured the assistance.
Senatorial Candidate Abdu Soja secured One Million Naira, while House of Representatives Candidate for Batsari/Safana/Danmusa Federal Constituency Hon Abdulkadir Zakka and that of the State House of Assembly Abduljalal AJ provided 250 Thousand Naira and 200 Thousand Naira respectfully.
The gesture was effected when the APC Senatorial Candidate’s campaign train visited Zakka District, where he met with the District Head the Gatarin Katsina Alhaji Sani Zakka.
While consoling the IDPs under the guide of Gatarin Katsina, the Abdu Soja commiserate with victims and assured them of his readiness towards addressing banditry, kidnapping and other criminality in the zone, state and the country in general through consultation and presentation of quality representation if elected into the Senate in the forthcoming election.
Abdu Soja also took time to pay condolences to some families that lost their loved ones.
Hon Zakka and Hon Abduljalal AJ separately spoke on the ugly incidence that bedeviling the area.
Later Abdu Soja also visited Karare Village where he commisirated with recently kidnapped victims who regained freedom.
