The second phase of the People’s Democratic Party PDP campaigns
in Zamfara towards the 2023 general election is set to resume
In the first phase PDP campaign train had visited eight Out of the fourteen Local Government areas of the state It was led by it’s Governorship Candidate Dauda Lawal and the party officials in the state.
The party went on Campaign break last Monday Immediately after the presidential campaign rally held in Gusau, the state Capital 30th of January, 2023
The PDP Campaign rally according to authorities in the party had been peaceful, successful and recorded large turnout of party faithfuls, supporters and well wishers, a development that has raised the hopes for victory in the governorship and other candidates in the coming polls
The Governorship Candidate and his team are expected to visit eight more Local government areas in it’s quest to victory
The local government Councils to be visited Include Birnin Magaji on Wednesday 8th Febuary, Bukkuyum Thursday 9th, Bungudu Saturday 11th. Ithers are Maru Sunday 12th, Maradun Monday 13th and Gusau Tuesday 14th which will be the grand finale.
Dr. Dauda Lawal is challenging the Incumbent, Governor Bello Matawalle who assumed office as Governor on may 29th 2019 alongside other contestants
