Ambassador Tukur Yusufu Buratai CFR has commended the efforts of the Vice Chancellor of Nigerian Army University Biu (NAUB) Professor Kyari Muhammad for upgrading and uplifting the institutions to the best standard and enhancing the welfare of the members staff.
The former Chief of Army Staff, His Excellency Yusuf Buratai made the commendation as the special guest of honour during a reception organized in honour of the departing university registrar Major General SS Ibrahim who was promoted and posted to become the provost, Army College of Education, and also for the promotion of Colonel B Sarki to the rank of Brigadier General, Wednesday, 11 Jan 2023. He congratulated the newly promoted officers and also urged them to do more.
In his remark, the VC appreciated the efforts and concern of Amb Buratai towards the university and assured that the management of the university would do anything possible to uplift the value of the university to be the best among its peers in the country and world at large. He urged the newly promoted officers to put in their best anywhere they find themselves.
In his remarks on behalf of the newly promoted officers, Major Gen SS Ibrahim said he has learned a lot serving under the VC. “If you work with my VC you can work with anyone in the world, the good the bad and the ugly once you are committed and has passion for the Job”
“I also want to assure the Special Guest of Honour that NAUB is one of the best in the country, we are hitting over 5000 applications’’ he concluded
