FGN releases funds for school feeding

The Federal Government of Nigeria has released Fund to the Accounts of Food Vendors for the continuation of Home Grown School Feeding in Katsina State.

The said the Special Adviser to the Governor on Empowerment and Special Intervention, Alhaji Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir disclosed this during a Meeting with Stakeholders on the Programmes.

Alhaji Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir explained that, the Food Vendors are expected to commence the Supply of Food to Primary Schools by Monday 9th January, 2023.

He said over 10,500  (Ten Thousand Five Hundred) Women are Supplying Prepared Food to over eight hundred Thousand Primary School Pupils across the State.

The Special Adviser who is the National Chairman of the Focal Persons form and Katsina State Focal   Person enjoined the Food Vendors to continue ensuring sanity and prompt supply of the Food.

Alhaji Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir charged the various relevant Committees to ensure proper Supervision and Monitoring the distribution of the Food in the benefitting Primary Schools.

The Special Adviser commended President Buhari, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Hajiya Sa’adiyya Umar Faruq  and Governor Masari for their concern towards the success of various Intervention Programmes.
