Katsina State government’s effort of providing conducive working environment through Public Private Partnership(PPP) is yielding positive result.
This is evident in the completion of Teachers Service Board office complex constructed through such partnership between the State government and Green House Company Katsina.
The Office complex situated inside Ja Abdulkadir State Secretariat was facilitated by the ministry of Lands and Survey on behalf of the state government.
Already,the Chairman, Board Members, Management and other staff of the Teachers Service Board have started enjoying the conducive working environment at the new edifice.
The newly constructed one storey building edifice comprised offices of the Board Chairman, Board Members, Management Staff and other supportive staff as well as Board room.
There is also a waiting room, secret and open registry, computer room, public conveniences for staff and visitors and VIP packing pavilions
Other facilities put in place include dedicated transformer, borehole and the art landscaping surrounding the edifice among others.
The State Head of Service, Alhaji Usman Idris Tune who expressed satisfaction with the quality of the work done in the TSB office complex, said government has decided to relocate the board office, to ensure good working condition of workers of the the board.
The Chairman Katsina State Teachers Service Board Alhaji Ummaru Audi Kofar Bai, commended the Masari led administration for improving the working environment of the staff for the board.
Alhaji Ummaru Audi Kofar Bai who confirmed that the new edifice has all the facilities that,will assist in achieving good result, applauded the government initiative in that regard.
Before such developments, the former TSB office complex situated at the old Ministry of information was taken over by illegal business operators and was characterised by public disturbances that often distracted the attention of workers.
Due to the influx of people around the former TSB office,people resorted spoiling the place through open defecation and dumping refuse indiscriminately within the premises.
Lack of security to the staff and government properties was also another source of concern at the old TSB office complex.
These and many more issues, necessitated the government decision to relocate the TSB to a safer place,through the partnership.
In the partnership the developer, Green House Company Katsina took over the old building and built a new one at the State Secretariate as replacement.

The Green House Katsina, on the other hand, converted the old building to a full pledged business outlet.
Already, the owner cleaned all the defecation and refuse dumped in and out of the surrounding for the conducive atmosphere of business.
The road close to the building which was hitherto abandoned by motorists and pedestrians, due to the eye sore nature now back to function due to clearance of dump refuse and provision of security lights.
It has been observed that,government decision to move the TSB office complex to another place through Public Private Partnership initiative as the best way of meeting people’s demands with out spending.
