The Governing Council of Ummaru Musa Yar’adua Universty, Katsina has approved the appointment of Professor Abdulhamid Ahmed as the Acting Vice Chancellor of the institution.
The decision was reached at its special meeting held today Friday 23° December, 2022, a press release signed by Muhammad Yusufu Abubakar manupa, fiica.
The new Acting Vice Chancellor will continue to serve in that capacity until a substantive Vice Chancellor is appointed.
A statement which conveyed the appointment and signed by the Registrar of the University, Mallam Muhammad Yusuf Abubakar says the appointment of Prof. Abdulhamid Ahmed as the Acting Vice Chancellor takes effect from today Friday, 23″ December, 2022
