By Lawal Gwanda: Katsina State Safety and Road Traffic Authority KASSAROTA has taken bold steps in mobilizing the public on the need to abide by road traffic regulations.
The Director General of the agency AIG Danlami Yar’du’a rtd made the call when he inspected operations being carried out by the officers of the agency.
He noted that the role of the agency is to ensure adherence to road traffic rules and regulations for safety of drivers, passengers and pedestrians as well. He urged officers of the agency to conduct themselves accordingly and say no to corruption.
Alhaji Danlami Yar du’a also advised drivers to observe traffic rules to stay safe, stressing that the agency will not condone disobedience to traffic rules.
Also speaking the commandant of the agency Alh Usman Masari said they will penalize offenders accordingly. He then called for support of all and sundry in the state for the agency to achieve its objectives.
