A critical stakeholder in Katsina State politics and staunch member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Hon Hamisu Gambo , Dan Lawan Katsina has set out to decamp to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
Alhaji Hamisu Gambo was a former local government and was a member of the Federal House of Representatives.
A source close to the prominent politician and opinion leader revealed that he was putting finishing torches to the plan on defection assuring that it will take place in a few days.
Some the reasons for the defection is crises within the PDP and the culture of ignoring advice by the leadership of the party in the state.
It could be recalled the PDP has been embroiled in a series of crises that seemed to be threatening the party’s successes in the 2023 general elections.
