The APC presidential campaign council unveiled a crowdfunding app for the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima raised N190 million in less than two minutes, which has broken the record of political fundraising in Nigeria.
This is a big boost to the Tinubu presidential campaigns and the APC especially cnnsidering that no individual can donate more than N50 million to a political party.
This demonstrates that Nigerians believe in the ability of the APC presidential candidate and his running mate to make Nigeria better.
Recall that some south east businessmen recently donated the sum of N1 billion to support the presidential bid of Tinubu.
While the Labour Party (LP) celebrated raising N10 million in 24 hours, the APC, which the opposition claims Nigerians are sick of, was able to raise 192 million in a matter of minutes.
It is obvious that the APC has been accepted by Nigerians ahead of the 2023 general elections.
