The Presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has written off Sen Rabi’u I Musa Kwankwaso and 15 others jostling to take over from President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has narrowed the 2023 Presidency to a race of three.
Out of the 18 candidates that are contesting for the position of president, only three are been given attention by Nigerians
Tinubu observed that out of a total of 18 candidates fielded by political parties for the number one position in the land,the ruling party’s candidate believes he has just two persons – Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi – to contend with in February 2023 contest.
Tinubu was quoted during his interaction with sect leaders in Kano saying “Between all of us running (sic), we are three now left. Isn’t it? One just failed the most important part of the examination. Are you a unifier or a divider? He said ‘I am from the North’. You are a divider!”
While inaugurating his campaign office on Saturday in Kano, Tinubu said that he was overwhelmed with the campaign structure, and expressed optimism that APC would emerge victorious at all levels in the forthcoming General Elections.
