2023: Tinubu receives warm reception in Kano, APC waxing stronger

Supporters of the All Progressives Congress, APC accorded Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu a rousing welcome through a mammoth crowd in Kano, Saturday.
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu could not hide his jubilations and optimism the APC is waxing stronger by the day, an indication that it will win the 2023 general elections.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate was welcome by the people of Kano, Jigawa and Zamfara States when he arrived Kano via Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport,(MAKIA) He was received by the Governors of Kano, Jigawa and Zamfara States, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Alhaji Badaru Abubakar and Alhaji Mohammed Bello Matawalle, respectively.
The reception at the airport featured singing, drumming and dances performed by the people of the three Northwestern States.
Tinubu was in Kano for a two-day visit to commission the Kano APC Campaign Coordinating Office and the Kano State APC Campaign Council Office.
He is billed also to commission the Kannywood Office in the state capital, and later be treated to a dinner by members of the Kano Business Community.
The programme of events showed that Tinubu will also pay a courtesy call on the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, and thereafter hold an audience with the Emirs of Gaya, Rano, Bichi and Karaye.
He will also hold interactive session with different religious groups includuing members of the Tijjaniyya sect, Kadriyya Movement, Ahlus Sunna, leadership of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and APC support groups in the State.
