Over 11,000 Youths benefit N-Power Programme in Katsina

Over Eleven Thousand Youth have been employed as beneficiaries of Batch C Stream Two N-Power Programme in Katsina State.
The Special Adviser on Empowerment and Special Intervention, Alhaji Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir disclosed this while distributing letters of primary place of assignments to the beneficiaries.
The Batch C Stream II beneficiaries of the N-Power cut across N-Teach, N-Agro, N-Health, N-Building and N-Creative.
Alhaji Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir who is the State Focal Person of National Social Investment Programmes and the National Chairman of the Focal Person, called on the beneficiaries of the Programme to submit their PPA letters to the Local Government Education Secretaries of the respective Areas for onward submission to the Focal Parson for singning.
He called on them to remain punctual and avoid absenteeism in their various places of assignment.
The Special Adviser also charged them not give money to any personnel as all the processes are free.
He also enjoined those posted to Kano and Zaria to learn Vocational Skills to report to the Centers and attentively concentrate to acquire the Skills for their betterment.
The Special Adviser commended President Muhammadu Buhari and Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Hajiya Sa’adiyya Umar Faruq for initiating various Social Intervention Programmes.
Alhaji Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir equally appreciated the support and contribution of Governor Masari for ensuring the successful implementation of the Programmes.
He re-affirmed the commitment of the Department to continue working with relevant Stakeholders in its various Special Intervention Programmes.
