As the 2023 general elections are gathering momentum and candidates are splicing for support, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) t Alh. Atiku Abubakar has assured women and youths of 60 per cent inclusiveness in his government if elected as president.
Atiku made the statement whiilemeeting with chairmen and secretaries of over 500 groups across 23 Local Government Areas of the state that make up the Support Groups and Events Directorate of Atiku Presidential Campaign Organization (APCO) in Kaduna that has accepted to have a common front in the bid to actualize their goal of making the Wazirin Adamawa next elected President of Nigeria.
He said the decision is already included in his policy documents for the 2023 general elections noting that women and youths constitute an important segment of society as far as human development is concerned.
While welcoming the presidential candidate and the group, the state coordinator Adamu Ahmed Dattijo said the great women and men has shown genuine interest and commitment to work and mobilize voters for Atiku’s electoral victory at the 2023 poll.
He said that the disappointing eight years of APC which have brought nothing but sorrow, heartbreak, poverty, Insecurity and unemployment to Nigerians have helped in making our job of selling your candidacy to kaduna people very easy,
“It will delight you to know that we have already set machineries in place by way of harmonizing all pro Atiku’s groups on Kaduna state, bringing them under a single platform to pursue a common goal and objective in order to avoid the electoral foresight of 2019”.
The group has also adopted an effective strategies capable of ensuring a landslide electoral victory for him in 2023.” he added.
