The election of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s as Lagos State has been confirmed by the governorship election petition tribunal sitting in Lagos.
While dismissing the petitions of governorship candidates of the Labour Party, LP, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, GRV, and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Olajide Adediran, Justice Mikhail Abdullah affirmed Sanwo-Olu’s victory.
GRV and Adediran filed separate petitions to contest the outcome of the last governorship election in the state.
However, the tribunal headed by Justice Abdullah dismissed the petitions.
