Gov Dikko Umar Radda plans to submit commissioner nominees to the Katsina State House of Assembly next week for clearance and confirmation for subsequent appointments to the various ministries.
A souce close to the corridors of power in the state confirmed the list would be sent to the House of Assembly, saying it will reflect the meanings and aspirations of Katsina people.
Recall that Gov Dikko had pledged to form a formidable cabinet that will comprise competent hands with the will and capacity to deliver on the promises made during the 2023 election campaigns.
In his effort to ensure fair representation of all parts of the state, Gov Radda sent letters to all critical stakeholders in the 34 local governments to nominate persons they want to be included in the forthcoming cabinet.
The nominees are expected to include women, youth and people with disability.
The people of Katsina State have very high hope on Gov Dikko Radda to address the challenges of security, pour revenue base, education, heath and youth unemployment.
The success in battling these challenges will depend on strategic planning and a vibrant team of workers across board
