The people of Dandume Local Government of Katsina State, Northwest Nigeria has been urged to give maximum cooperation and support to government and security agents to ensure security of lives and properties is improved in the area.
The call was made by Hon. Yahaya Nuhu Mahuta, member representing Dandume Local Government in Katsina State House of Assembly in an interview with newsmen.
He urged community members to provide intelligence on criminals, especially informants and their hideouts for security operatives to arrest and prosecute them.
Hon Yahaya said part of his mission to the Assembly is to do what is possible in improving the lives of his community through vibrant legislation in the house and working in synergy with stakeholders in providing democracy dividends to his constituents.
On the efforts of engaging 24,000 youth to deal with insecurity in the frontline security prone local governments, Hon Yahaya doffed his cap the Katsina State government as it is one of the means through which security can be enhenced in Katsina State.
He also observed that there is improvement of security as farmers go to their farms and undertake their farming activities
By this development the economy of the local government will surely improve and life becomes better.
