Governor Dikko Umar Radda of Katsina state has appointed Alhaji Usman Isyaku as the new Head of Service. The appointment is with immediate effect.
This is contained in a statement signed and issued by Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, the Chief Press Secretary to the governor in Katsina, Tuesday.

The Governor congratulated the new Head of Service and tasked him on offering exemplary leadership, with a view to revamp the State’s civil service.
Until his appointment, Alhaji Usman Isyaku, was a Permanent Secretary in the Office of the State’s Head of Service.
He took over from Alhaji Idris Tune, the immediate-past Katsina Head of Service, who retired recently.
In a related development, The Governor has relieved all the Permanent Secretaries of their postings with immediate effect.
This is contained in a statement signed by Ado Yahaya, the Director Human Resources in the office of the Head of Civil Service and made available to newsmen in Katsina on Tuesday.
The statement directed the Permanent Secretaries to hand over to the most senior directors in their MDAs, exempting the Permanent Secretary in the office of the Head of Civil Service of the state.
It also directed the Permanent Secretaries to be reporting at the office of the Head of Civil Service of the state pending further directives.
It however stated that, the handing over exercise should be completed on or before Wednesday 14th June, 2023
