It was gathered that during his right year’s tenure as president, Ahmadinejad refused to collect or receive a single Rials as salary from the state budget but only lived on a teacher’s salary.
More importantly, during Ahmadinejad’s presidency, he did not initiate an ex-presidency law in order to receive a high pension for life.
