Youths have staged a protest blocking Jos – Abuja road at Riyom over renewed attacks by bandits in the area.
There were reports that tension enveloped Farin Lamba and some parts of Riyom Local Government Area as youths and Community members have blocked major highways leading in and out of Jos, protesting the resurgence of killings in their Communities by gunmen.
It was gathered that security operatives sent to the affected areas were alleged to have been attacked by angry community members.
Many motorists and travelers have been reported stranded along Mararaban Jama’a with many commuters forced to turn back to take alternative route to their destination
