The Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been dissolved.
The council, referred to as Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, was inaugurated in October 2022 for the campaign of its presidential candidate (now ‘president-elect’), Bola Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima.
This decision was disclosed in a statement jointly signed by Plateau State Governor and Director-General of the PCC, Simon Lalong and its Secretary, James Faleke, on behalf of the chairman of the council,, President Muhammadu Buhari.
The dissolution comes some weeks after the 2023 presidential election and the announcement of results.
The council thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for his support during electioneering and all its members along with supporters of the party for working for the victory of the party’s presidential candidate.
