Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, on Friday joined the Muslim Ummah in Kaduna for the funeral prayers of late Hajiya Diya Matazu, stepmother to the First Lady, Hajiya Zulaihat Dikko Radda.
The Governor joined members of the Matazu family, relatives and other sympathisers in offering prayers for the repose of the deceased.
Following the funeral prayers, Governor Radda led the procession conveying the remains of the deceased to Malali Cemetery in Kaduna, where she was laid to rest.
Governor Radda prayed Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased, accept her good deeds and grant her Aljannatul Firdaus.
