Residents of the area behind Azbir Arena in Birnin Kebbi have applauded Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, for the construction of access roads and drainage facilities in the area, describing the projects as significant interventions that will improve accessibility and enhance the living conditions of the people.
Speaking during an interaction with the Governor’s media aides on Saturday, one of the beneficiaries, Alhaji Lawal Suleiman, expressed gratitude to the Governor for rehabilitating the roads, which he said had previously been in a deplorable condition.
He noted that upon completion, the project would improve connectivity between several communities and neighbourhoods, including Bayan Kara and Bayan Oando, among others.
“We need to appreciate the Governor for repairing these roads for the benefit of residents. Unlike what we are experiencing now, the roads were previously in very poor condition and almost impassable to motorists,” he said.
