Youths of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across Katsina State have reiterated their support and passed a vote of confidence, endorsing the Tinubu/Dikko joint ticket for a second term in 2027.
The endorsement was made at a massive Youth Summit organized by the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Digital Media (Katsina Zone), Hon. Sani Abubakar Dan Abba, held at the Continental Events Center, Katsina, on Monday.
Governor Dikko Umaru Radda, who was represented by the Commissioner for Water Resources, Hon. Mannir Ayuba Sullubawa, thanked the youths for their unwavering support, describing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Radda as leaders worthy of continuity given their widespread infrastructural and developmental strides.
He noted that the Radda administration has deliberately appointed numerous youths into political positions as part of its youth inclusion agenda.
In his welcome address, Hon. Sani Abubakar Dan Abba said the summit was organized to sensitize youths on the policies, programmes and achievements of the Tinubu and Radda administrations and to encourage them to contribute meaningfully to national development.
He said the APC-led government from top to bottom has touched every sector, including roads, hospitals, empowerment, agriculture and security, and urged youths to maintain dignity and shun political thuggery and abuse on social media.
The Chairman of the occasion and former Deputy Governor, Hon. Tukur Ahmad Jikamshi, said the APC deserves continued support from top to bottom in view of the Renewed Hope projects brought by President Tinubu and the Building Your Future strides of Governor Radda.
The summit also featured presentations on key achievements of the administration.
Dr. Mannir Wurma spoke on security and road construction, Engr. Kabir Abdullahi Kofar Soro spoke on youth vocational and technological training at the Katsina Youth Craft Village, Dr. Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa charged the youths to work for Tinubu/Dikko victory in 2027, while the Senior Special Assistant on Student Affairs, Hon. Muhammad Nuhu Nagaske, highlighted interventions in the education sector, including benefits from NELFUND.
Governor Radda, through his representative, commended the youths for their loyalty and for standing firm with the APC from top to bottom, and wished them success in all their endeavours.
