The wife of the Katsina State Governor and Founder of the Pledging Aid Charity Foundation, PAC-F, Hajia Fatima Dikko Radda, has reaffirmed her commitment to advancing cancer prevention and equitable care as she joins world leaders at the World Cancer Congress 2026.
The Congress holds from September 24 to 26, 2026 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Wan Chai, Hong Kong, and is organised by the Union for International Cancer Control in collaboration with the Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society.
Speaking on the conference, Hajia Radda said her participation will spotlight the work being done in Katsina State to support cancer patients and promote early detection, especially among women and vulnerable communities.
According to her, “Through my foundation, PAC-F, we have continued to bridge the gap in awareness, screening and support for cancer patients in Katsina. The World Cancer Congress gives us a global platform to share our experiences and learn best practices in prevention, treatment and health equity.”
This year’s congress will gather over 2,000 researchers, clinicians, policymakers, patient advocates and Ministers of Health from more than 120 countries to deliberate on multidisciplinary strategies for cancer control.
The three-day CPD-certified event will feature plenary sessions, workshops and networking hubs including the Innovation Hub and Spotlight Stage.
Hajia Fatima Dikko Radda, widely recognized for her humanitarian interventions through PAC-F, said her foundation remains committed to aligning with global efforts to reduce cancer burden and ensure no patient is left behind.
