The Committee set up by His Excellency the Governor of Katsina State for the recruitment of health workers in the state has discovered a syndicate that specializes in generating and printing fake Remita Payment Receipts.
The syndicate sells same Remita Payment Receipt to candidates attending recruitment interview in order to deceive the Committee into believing that such candidates have genuine operating /practice licence.
In a statement signed by the Chairman of the committee Hon. Lawal Rufa’i Safana stated that the committee found this fraudulent practice in the process of its meticulous screening of candidates appearing for the interview in Malumfashi Centre.
The committee has already handed over the candidates and the suspected syndicate to security agency for further investigation.
In the light of this development, the Committee Chairman has sent a stern warning to candidates to be careful and ensure that all information submitted to the committee is authentic and reliable.
The committee according to a statement will not condone any fraudulent intentions from any candidate in its effort to ensure due process based on honesty and responsibility are ensured in the recruitment exercise all over the state.
