No state or local government should complain of funds uinnder the Administration of Pesident Bola Ahmed Tinubu,

This was disclosed by the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-oLu made the statement during a one day public lecture organised by the Arewa Thinktank (ATT) to commemorate Nigeria’s 65 Independence Anniversary held at Arewa House Kaduna.

He noted that federal allocations to subnational governments have risen significantly, empowering them to deliver more impactful projects to their citizens.

The event, themed “65 years of Nigeria’s Independence: the journey so far with the renewed Hope Agenda in view'” brought together political leaders, academics, youths and stakeholders from various sections to assess Nigerias progress under President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

President Tinubu is a veteran unifier and a bridge builder and this is self-evident from the breath and vastness of his personal and political networking across Nigeria and even Africa.

“I can say vividly that bridge building is what the Renewed Hope Agenda is all about.” He said a strong message of hope, unity for these times that we are in, against the backdrop of the challenges that we are confronting as a nation, including very controversial claims from the United States Government about religious persecution and intolerance.

“Nigeria is a proudly multi-ethnic, multi-religious and multi-cultural country, where the things that bind us together are far weightier than whatever seeks to separate or divide us.”

The Lagos state governor said the late Sardauna was someone who deliberately allowed himself to be challenged by the development he saw in other regions of the country.
