The Argungu Fishing Festival slated for February continueto receive endorsements from critical stakeholders across the country and beyond.
A meeting is currently ongoing between the Main Committee of the festival headed by the Deputy Governor, Senator Abubakar Umar (Tafidan Kabi) and top officials of the Federal Ministry of Livestock Development led by the Minister, Alhaji Muktar Maina at the Minister’s office in Abuja.
Other members of the Deputy Governor’s team include the Director General of the Main Organizing Committee, Alhaji Safiyanu Garba Bena; the Commissioner of Livestock Development and Fisheries, Alhaji Kabir Usman Alaramma; the Commissioner of Information and Culture, Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed BK; the Commissioner of Environment, Alhaji Musa Tungulawa and other officials.
