The Kaduna State Government has been lauded for “a decisive week of transformational governance”, by the Uba Sani Back2Back Movement.
Citing four landmark interventions that will “reshape livelihoods and accelerate inclusive growth across the state.”on Friday, the Director of Strategic Communications of the group — Hadiza Mohammed, applauded the governor for attracting a £10 million dairy industry investment, approving a salary upgrade for state-owned tertiary institutions, clearing over ₦2.3 billion in pension liabilities, and securing a renewable-energy partnership to expand solar power access for poor communities.
She said the dairy investment, sealed with leading agriculture stakeholders, will “boost local production, empower pastoralist communities, and deepen Kaduna’s agro-industrial value chain.”
She described it as a transformative lifeline for rural economies and youth employment.
On the improved salary structure for workers in state-run tertiary institutions, she said it reflects “the administration’s commitment to rewarding knowledge, restoring dignity to educators, and strengthening Kaduna’s education pipeline.”
The group also commended the governor for authorizing the payment of ₦2.321bn to settle accrued pension and gratuity arrears, saying it offers relief to vulnerable retirees “who sacrificed decades of service and deserve comfort, not hardship, in tune with the Governor’s compassionate leadership style.”
The Back2Back Movement spokesperson further noted that the new renewable-energy partnership with the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) — designed to deliver solar power to underserved and low-income communities — represents “an equity-driven energy solution placing the poorest first.”
“In one week, Governor Uba Sani delivered four structural wins touching agriculture, education, welfare and energy justice,” she said, adding “This is governance by action, not slogans.”
The coalition urged citizens to support the administration’s reforms, describing Kaduna as “Nigeria’s leading example for sustainable, people-centred development
