The Permanent Secretary, Government House Katsina, Alhaji Yusuf Nasir, has exlressed allreciation to Gov Dikko Umar Radda of Katsina State for personally leading a high-powered delegation to condole his family over the death of Alhaji Surajo Nasir, his elder brother,Alhaji Surajo Nasir..
He sai, in a letter of appreciation “Your presence, prayers, and kind words brought comfort to us during this painful moment, and we remain forever grateful.
“Our appreciation equally goes to members of the Katsina State Executive Council, Honourable Members of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Permanent Secretaries and Heads of MDAs, senior government officials, and political office holders who found time, despite their busy schedules, to come and sympathize with us.
“Your solidarity has strengthened our hearts and reassured us that we are not alone in this difficult time.
“We also deeply thank our revered religious leaders—Ulamas, Imams, Qur’anic teachers, and scholars—who offered prayers and spiritual support for the repose of the soul of the deceased.
“To our traditional rulers, the business community, community leaders, colleagues, friends, neighbours, and well-wishers both within and outside Katsina State, we say a very big thank you for your physical presence, phone calls, messages, and kind gestures. Every effort, no matter how small, meant the world to us.
“This outpouring of love and solidarity has reminded us of the power of unity, brotherhood, and compassion. It has shown us that in moments of grief, we are bound together as one people under Almighty Allah.
“We pray earnestly that Allah (SWT), in His infinite mercy, will reward each and every one of you abundantly, bless your families, and grant you good health and peace. May He continue to keep Katsina State and Nigeria at large in harmony and prosperity.
“May the gentle soul of our late brother, Alhaji Surajo Nasir, rest in perfect peace, and may Jannatul Firdausi be his final abode, Alhaji Yusuf Nasir said.
