CSP Joka Support’s 2,000 Downtrodden

Chief Superintendent of Police, CSP Lawal Amadu Joka has supported people with bags of grains to improve their living condition.

The distribution of the grain which took place on Saturday at his resident, was part of his philanthropic activities towards assisting the downtrodden to get relief against the current hardship.

 Speaking shortly before the commencement of the distribution, CSP Lawal Joka stated that the gesture was  an attempt in complementing government efforts towards bringing succour to the people.

CSP Joka believes that such support how little it may be will definitely touch the lives of the common man hence the need for elected officials and other well to do from all ramifications to extend their support to the less privileged.

While applauding the efforts of the State Government in curbing banditry and the restoration of peaceful coexistence in the state, Joka assured his support to the administration and pledged that the support he has been rendering to the common man will be of continous nature.

He also commended Katsina Local Government Council under its Chairman Hon. Isah Miqdad for identifying with him, which according to him was an honour to him.

On his part as the Chairman of Katsina Local Government Council Hon. Isah Miqdad represented by the Council Leader Hon. Ishaq Modoji appreciated the action of the CSP Lawal Joka and pledged to continue identifying with him in all endeavours.

Hon. Isah Miqdad stated that Joka has followed the right direction towards cushioning the hardship being experienced.and asked the beneficiaries to use what they get in a proper way.

An ally to CSP Joka, Hon. Tanimu Sada (House to House) expressed appreciation over the positive action taken by Joka saying that the support initially targeted only women, but considering the philanthropic nature of the gesture, male folks were also considered.

Hon. Tanimu Sada pointed out that CSP Lawal Joka has been in the course of giving out support to people considering the orientation he had undergone under the former Governor R H. Aminu Bello Masari.

He charged the beneficiaries to ensure proper utilisation of the grain and pray for the peaceful coexistence in the state.

Also speaking at the event Hajia Lallu Maiwada pledged to go along with CSP Lawal Joka and will continue to consider his good gesture, saying he who supports Women support the Nation.

In a vote of thanks, Hon. Shafi’u Filin Polo extended the appreciation of the beneficiaries and urged the donor to sustain the philanthropic activities.

Council Members of Katsina Local Government and other notable figures witnessed the event.

Highlight of the event was the distribution of the grains and transport money to the beneficiaries.
