The Free Medical Outreach Programme sponsored by Senator AbdulAziz Musa Yar’adua of Katsina Central hamm was rounded up on Saturday 17/05/25 at Dutsinma General Hospital.
The Free Medical Outreach was in collaboration with Islamic Medical Association of Nigeria to treat persons with Hynia, Hydrocele, Eye ailments and Malaria across 11 local government areas of Katsina Central Senatorial District.
The Programme covered Katsina, Batsari, Jibia, and Kaita LGAs at Katsina General Hospital, while Rimi, Charanchi and Batagarawa LGAs at Rimi General Hospital.
A total of 500 patients drawn from the Senatorial District with different ailments have successfully been treated.
Speaking during the closing of the Programme, the representative of the Senator Alhaji Sani Bambale thanked the IMAN Medical Team for its humility and endurance in the conduct of the Programme.
The Senator also urged beneficiaries to ensure that they strictly comply with the medical instructions given to them regarding their medications.
He therefore reaffirmed his assurance of sustaining the Programme from time to time considering its importance in reciprocating the efforts of Governor Dikko Radda led administration in uplifting healthcare delivery across the state.
On his part, the Chairman of Dutsinma Local Government Council Hon. Kabir Abdulsalam Shema represented by the Council Leader Hon. Zubairu Abubakar applauded the foresight of the Senator for his initiative and selecting Dutsinma as the Centre for the founding up of the Programme
Also speaking, the A P C Chairman of the area represented by his Vice Alhaji Muhammad Nasir Tela said the conduct of the Medical Outreach testified testified the concern of the Senator on his constituents.
In a remark, the Leader of the Medical Team Dr Ibrahim Salisu of IMAN expressed appreciation for the successful conduct of the Programme.
Dr. Ibrahim who disclosed that IMAN was happy with the initiative and thanked the Senator for the collaboration, enjoined the beneficiaries to continue with the support and pray for the Senator to succeed.
On behalf of other beneficiaries, Kabir Hudu, Hajia Ladidi and Aisha Hussaini thanked the Senator and pledged their full support for his good representation at the Senate.
