Kebbi Commissioner Berates Critics

Kebbi State Commissioner of Information and Culture,  Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed BK has described those criticized Governor Nasir Idris’s trips as ignorant of what the state gains whenever the governor travels out of the state.

He said there was a lot of potentials which the state benefitts out of His Excellency’s trips most especially the recent award of renovation of 87 kilometres Koko-Mahuta-Dabai road by the governor which was abandoned by the federal government.

Addressing a news conference at Government House Press Centre in Birnin Kebbi on Tuesday evening,  Ahmed BK listed other benevolence as the construction of a befitting centre for milk rearing, international market at Tsamiya border under Bagudo local government area of the state among others.

 “We welcome concrete criticism but, in a situation whereby the criticism centred on personal interests or gain we could not accept that ” Ahmed BK said.

Anytime you see His Excellency went out, he went to pursue a very important project or program that will be a beneficial to the good people of Kebbi State ” he added.

He urged the critics particularly the oppositions to wait and see what the state will become in the next two years where Kebbi State will record tremendous achievements across.
